… Violaine Dupuis and her project Tiffin!
It’s a new service that promises few tons less of waste, based on a sharing system of food boxes, that won the Wallonie-Bruxelles Prize awarded this May 4 by the Jury of the Call for Projects THE TASTE OF CHANGE – Design for food.
And how does it work? You subscribe to the Tiffin service in one of the partner restaurants: you pay 10,00 € plus a 10,00 € deposit and you receive your Tiffin box (a compartmentalized plate). Then you call a partner restaurant and order your dish! The restaurant prepares your order in a Tiffin box, that you withdraw by bringing your own Tiffin box. You receive an immediate 5% discount on the takeaway, and that every time. The boxes, reusable order after order, made of 18/10 quality stainless steel are airtight, solid, practical, durable and design. And approved by the restaurants.
